I've read all Adrienne's series books. Fox and Bull's story is now my favorite of the Nothing Special series, replacing Mark and Chris' book. First, the book cover representation of Fox is HOT; the best of all Adrienne's books!! Second, the city slicker vs country boys trope is very well done with a lot of really funny scenes. IMO, the growth of Fox and Dale's friendship is almost as heartwarming as the relationship between Fox and Bull. The scene with Dale, his horse Brandy, and God is hilarious!! My only problem with the book is that Fox's legacy as a 6th generation SWAT team member switches to a military legacy later in the book. Fox also goes from an Annapolis graduate to a West Point graduate. These are minor issues and don't detract from the beautiful storyline. However, these inconsistencies are unexpected in an Adrienne Via book.
